Odelic Japan @ Archidex July 2011

It's my 1st time working for Archidex.
Was really excited upon confirmation, not bcz of the job itself, but the client i'll be working for.
They're Odelic Trading (www.odelic.co.jp) from Tokyo, Japan.

Exhibition jobs are not as lucrative as other jobs, but the reason i've always enjoyed working for exhibitions is that i'l be exposed to diff industries, n most importantly, diff country cultures.

Previously i was the hostess for Samsung Thales in the DSA Exhibition (Defence Services Asia Ehibition & Conference ) at pwtc. The Clients were Koreans. It was fun talking to Mr Jeffrey who speaks english well, and also sings well !

I actually have this secret fettish for listening to ppl conversing in foreign languages ! weird, but true :)

So for this Archidex job, Mr Aoki ( the person in charge), fortunately, can converse in both english n mandarin . Mr Yanagawa (the old old funny man whose only daughter is a japanese model-super kawaii ! ) is 100 % jap so no english for him , n as for Mr Shimo (the young designer-www.palabola.com) ,only written english applies to him XD.

After conversations/sign languages/written english communication with the trio, i found out that most jap families prefer having 1-2 kids. They are not afraid of getting lonely when they turn 60. But i'm afraid their only child might get lonely :(

Mr. Aoki also told me the places to visit in Tokyo, and Mr.Shimo was super nice to offer a shelter (which he currently shares with his beloved wife n friends) if i were to visit Tokyo :D

Well, overall it was a great experience working with Odelic, learning bout japanese lighting technology which cost a bomb in the malaysian market>.< , and the pleasure to introduce our beautiful country to visitors in Malaysia.

Arigatou Gozaimas to u guys for such a fun experience :)
Cheers!
